
Four KCSE Candidates Allegedly Caught Smoking Bhang In School, To Be Charged After Exam Completion

The students were afterwards released on police cash bail to allow them to sit the remaining KCSE papers before being charged.
Kisumu Central sub-county Police Commander, Peter Mulai says the decision to release them on cash bail was arrived at after a meeting between the police, their parents, and the school administration.
Mulai says the four will however appear before a court of law upon completing the ongoing examinations to face charges of being in possession of bhang.
Mulai says the boys will also face a separate charge of forcefully breaking into a room where they were busted smoking the bhang after using a master key to gain access.
Mulai says three of the boys are aged 18 while the other is 17.
