Multitalented musician and songwriter Bien‑Aimé Baraza has opened up about a memorable moment on stage when he had to ask someone in the audience to leave during Sauti Sol’s past performance.
In a candid conversation with the MicCheque podcast in an episode aired on Wednesday, November 3, 2025, Bien, while discussing Burna Boy’s encounter with a fan during his concert, revealed that he, too, had to order a fan out in the middle of their performance.
He added that, according to him, the Nigerian singer cannot be cancelled.
“I have a very different opinion about the whole thing. Burna Boy is uncancelable,” Bien said.

When asked what his reaction would be when he sees someone sleeping while he is performing, he said that he would check up on them or just ignore them and focus on the rest of the audience vibing to his music.
“Ebu, check on her is she fine? Are you fine? Do you need some water? But nikiona kama amechoka namlenga because kuna watu wengine wananiwatch na nashugulikia tu wale wananitaka hiyo time,” he stated, highlighting the importance of balancing audience care with show management.
The award-winning musician further explained that performers often notice subtle cues in the crowd that may affect the overall energy.
According to the singer, being a performer sometimes means protecting the energy of the show and ensuring that the audience and performers are having the best experience possible.
“As a performer, sometimes you are on stage, and there is one person in the audience sapping your energy,” he explained.
In addition, the AH hitmaker shared one specific instance when he ordered someone kicked out during their performance after the said person disrespected one of Sauti Sol’s band members, Chimano.
For him, some moments require intervention, especially if an audience is being disrespectful or affecting the performance.
Kuna day tulikuwa tunaperfom na kuna mtu hapo mbele (anadisrespect) Chimano, nilihave kusimamisha show, nikasema ‘toa huyu jamaa hapa sahii,” he revealed.
He emphasised that such decisions are not made lightly.
“Kuna moments pia mimi nishow mtu atolewe kwa sababu alikuwa disrespectful,” he explained.
