77 year old man found in dead in a motel after checking in with a 32 year old lady
Police in Mwala, Machakos County are investigating a case in which a man was found dead in a hotel room on Saturday evening after checking in with a woman.
Seventy-seven-year-old James Maingi, a resident of Lower Yatta in Kitui County was found dead on the bed of the motel in Masii market minutes past 7 pm.
Police say he was naked.
Thirty-two-year-old Gladys Maina, with whom Maingi had checked in, was found in the room.
“The deceased’s bag was found to have 25 tablets of men's booster and four empty sachets of the tablets that he is believed to have taken,” reads a police report seen by Citizen Digital.
Maingi’s body was taken to Machakos Funeral Home awaiting post-mortem and the lady was booked for further interrogation, added the police.
