Kenyan comedian David Oyando, popularly known as Mulamwah, and his wife, content creator Ruth K, are celebrating their son Oyando Junior’s first birthday.
On Sunday, February 2, 2025, Mulamwah took to Instagram to share a video showcasing their son’s elegant blue-themed picnic setup. Accompanying the visuals was a heartfelt message wishing his son good health and success.
In his post, the comedian also playfully teased his wife about the possibility of having another child while expressing gratitude for her dedication to raising their son.
“Happy birthday my boy. A little picnic before the main party. You deserve all the good things in life. Blessings and many more years of success, good health, and prosperity @oyando_jnr. Thank you, Mama Kalamz, for taking such good care of him. Sijui tuongeze kengine ama @atruthk,” he wrote.
Ruth also penned a touching tribute, describing how Oyando Junior has made motherhood an enjoyable experience. She expressed admiration for the bond between Mulamwah and their son.
“Happy birthday my boy. You are the best thing that ever happened to me. You have made motherhood so easy and sweet. May you continue growing in God’s ways. Mummy loves you so much—may you live long. Thanks, Baba Oyando Jnr, for being the best dad. I always admire the bond you two share. This is just the beginning of the celebration @oyando_jnr @mulamwah,” she wrote.

You are so loved, baby Kalamwa. Proud to be Mama @oyando_jnr. Thanks, Daddy @mulamwah, for always being the best for us. We love you,” Ruth shared.
