Zari Hassan: Vera Should Be Featured On 'Young Famous And African'
Zari Hassan has now said Vera Sidika is the only celebrity who qualifies to feature on the Reality show 'Young Famous and African.
This she revealed during a Quick Fire segment with Mpasho's Kalondu Musyimi. Which football team does she support?
"I do not like soccer."

Zari further revealed she worked as a secretary. The mother of five was in Kenya in January 2025 for the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked Launch.

In an exclusive interview with Mpasho, Zari shared her experience shooting Young Famous and African season 3 stating that it was "nice and depressing at the same time".
On being asked her sentiments about her wedding that aired on the show, Zari stated that it was the wedding she had always dreamt of as everyone she loves was present from her husband, kids, sisters, dad to her in-laws.
"That's all I need. I didn't need like something big. For me it was about who was there and that was it."
She however remained tight-lipped on just how much she was paid by Netflix for the rights to her wedding, saying that they had to sign a no-disclosure agreement.
Her favourite star on the show is Kayleigh and the worst is Fantana, who is dating her ex, Diamond, in the show.
According to her Fantana is ' too dense" for not seeing the red flags in their relationship.
In an interview on her son's YouTube channel, Zari disclosed to Raphael Tlale that she took up housekeeping jobs to pay her bills.

"I've actually been a maid at some point. I did laundry and cleaned houses in the UK. It was all part of my effort to achieve a better life," she said.
Zari also mentioned working late-night shifts packing sandwiches and groceries at a supermarket. "I've been working since I was 17. People often think 'she's just living this life,' but I've truly earned it," she added.

She says she does not have any regrets about spending her money buying stuff. She also has no regrets about being a celebrity and losing her privacy. Zari says losing her ex-husband Ivan Ssemwanga and her mum were the lowest points of her life.
