Digital content creators Milly Chebby and Terrence Creative are finally setting the record straight when it comes to their relationship with veteran actress Jackie Matubia.

Speaking during an  interview with Commentator 254, the couple went on to reveal that regardless of everything going on online and the rumours spinning they still considered Jackie a friend and valued her greatly.

Milly recounted how far she and her former best friend have come from as she went on to remind people just like seasons people aren't permanent either.

"Bado napenda Jackie sana. Tumetoka mbali sana na yeye. Mi husema seasons za life hujhappen hivo tu. Kuna tu mtu alikuja kwa hiyo season ya life na akaideliver hiyo purpose na ikaisha kwa life yako," the mother of one.

Her husband joined in echoing similar sentiments.

Terrence added that just because their friendship seemed strained didn't necessarily mean it had ended. He asked netizens to chill with the stories and not to be so quick to push negative narratives reminding them that there is so much behind the curtains that they are oblivious of.

"Tusishinde tukiskuma agenda ambayo haipo. Pengine hii si mara ya kwanza wao kukosana, lakini ni hii tu imekuja kwa mtandao," the comedian said.

He went on to touch on the issue of Jackie's relationship asking people to provide receipts showing him or his wife confirming to the public that Jackie was single. If you remember correctly, a few months ago Jackie Matubia announced her separation from her baby daddy and then fiance Blessing Lung'aho leaving fans bewildered.

"Lakini kama iko video mahali mimi na mke wangu tulisema yeye hana bwana ningeomba iweze kuwekwa. Lakini kitu ambayo haijatoka kwa mdomo yetu msitulazimishe nayo," Terence said before confirming that as a family they were still friends with the Salem actress.

"Sisi bado ni marafiki. Where we are in life, we are not here to wish anybody bad. We speak blessing and prosperity. You came to my life and whatever impact you brought to my life nashukuru."

"Na pia, there are many secrets ambazo sisi hubaki nazo because we promised ourselves when we were friends that they would remain so... Kuna mengi hatujasema lakini tunampenda dada yetu."

Finishing up Milly went on to extend an invite to Jackie to show up for Terence Creative's upcoming show 'Wash Wash' 4
