Stephanie Kiuna Visits Her Dad's Grave For The First Time

Stephanie Kiuna has finally returned home and paid an emotional visit to her late father, Bishop Allan Kiuna’s grave, months after missing his burial.

According to a heartfelt statement shared by her mother, Lady Bishop Kathy Kiuna, on Sunday, December 21, 2025, the visit was a deeply emotional moment filled with both sadness and joy.

In the statement, Kathy revealed that it was Stephanie’s first time seeing her father’s grave, a moment that stirred heavy emotions for the family.

“@stephaniekiuna is finally home. And it was happy/sad moment because of seeeing the dad’s grave for the first time. Then seeing us all was just joyful,'” Kathy Kiuna said.

She described the reunion as one marked by mixed emotions, as grief and gratitude blended together during the visit. Despite the pain of loss, Kathy emphasised the family’s faith, noting that God has continued to sustain them through the difficult season.

Bishop Allan Kiuna, who was the main founder and senior pastor of Jubilee Christian Church (JCC), died on July 9, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with multiple myeloma, a rare type of blood cancer.

His death, announced by his family and church leadership, marked the end of a remarkable life that helped redefine the face of urban evangelical Christianity in Kenya.

Bishop Kiuna died at a Nairobi hospital, surrounded by close family members, at the age of 58.

The news of his passing triggered an outpouring of grief across the country, with political leaders, fellow clergy, and thousands of followers mourning a man they described as bold, visionary, and full of faith.

Tributes flooded social media for days, with many remembering the bishop for his fiery preaching style, his unapologetic emphasis on prosperity, and the deep love he showed his wife, Rev Kathy Kiuna, with whom he led the church.

Bishop Kiuna publicly revealed in 2023 that he had been battling cancer, which he had been diagnosed with in mid-2018.

In a moving testimony, he shared how he had spent over a year in the United States undergoing treatment, which cost nearly Ksh390 million.

Despite the toll the disease took on his health, he returned to Kenya and continued ministering, declaring healing and hope even as his condition worsened.

He founded Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) in the late 1990s with Kathy, and together they built it into one of Kenya’s largest and most influential Pentecostal churches. Under his leadership, JCC grew into a megachurch with multiple campuses, a television ministry, and a loyal global following.

He is survived by his wife, three children, and thousands of spiritual sons and daughters across the world.

His funeral, held at JCC Parklands, was attended by dignitaries, fellow pastors, celebrities, and ordinary Kenyans, all gathered to honour a man many regarded as a giant of faith.
