Ministry of Interior reveals multiple blackspots in roads across the country

The Ministry of Interior and National Administration has designated several road sections throughout the country as black spots due to a high rate of traffic accidents.

Motorists are being urged to use extreme caution when driving on these roads in order to protect their own and others' safety.

Identified black spots by region:

1. Central Region

Kiganjo – Narumoru Road

Kibirigwi – Sagana Road Section

Limuru – Uplands Section

Thika Blue Post – Sagana Bridge Road 8, Makutano Embu Road Section

Kiriaini – Murang’a Road Section

Nyeri – Nyahururu Road

Makongeni (Thika – Garissa Road)

Kiambu – Muthaiga Road

 

2. Coast Region

Tsavo – Maungu – Voi Road Section

Mazeras – Miritini Road Section

Kilifi – Vipingo Road Section

Kibarani – Changamwe Makande

Kwale Matuga Junction Road Section

Navy Junction (Mtongwe Junction), Likoni Road
