Maureen Waititu urges netizens to shun cyber bullying during her tribute to Charles Ouda

Maureen Waititu has asked social media users to stop bullying people. Waititu said this while paying her tribute to late actor Charles Oudo.

Charles died on February 3rd.

In an Instagram message, Waititu gave her condolences to Oudo's fiance Ciru Muriuki.

"I did not know you Charles but I have enjoyed the shows you did since Makutano Junction to Second Family."

"My heart goes out to your family, friends, the entire film industry and more so to @cirumuriuki ?️."

She went on to say that it is disheartening to see comments from some people who are turning this heart shattering time into something else.

"People hide behind keyboards and act like bad things can’t happen to them as they throw painful words to people in the limelight when they know nothing about the situation, as if they are so perfect, negativity mongers.I really don’t get it ??‍♀️."

"The other day a blog set this man up to harsh comments and I can’t help but think, when are we ever going to learn??? Seeing Chadwick Boseman being trolled while he battled a critical illness didn’t teach us something, anything⁉️⁉️"

She urged people to stand together against cyber attacks and bullying.

"Really people, can we do better? Be kind to others, you don’t know what struggles they are facing. Bloggers, stop ? setting people up just to sell a story.Let loved ones mourn this man in peace."

"RIP Charles ?️?️May God give Ciru strength and comfort."
