Kenyan actress and influencer Brenda Michelle has revealed the most expensive pet she owns is a dog worth Sh 850,000.

In an interview with Mqwende Macharia, she shared

"Currently, I have 35 pets. The most expensive pet I have is a dog with Sh850,000.

It's ChowChow, it looks like a bear. I got it in Russia. The most expensive cat I have is worth Sh 150,000."

When did she realize she loved pets?

"I grew up in Mombasa and I had a very rough childhood.

I saw people did not like cats due to their association with black magic.

I would look forward to Sundays so that I would go to church, where I would play with stray cats.

I was not allowed to bring them home. When I grew up I overcompensated. I love cats and my husband loves dogs."

Does she employ people to take care of the pets?

"Normally I have someone for some time but most are not pet lovers. To deal with animals you must have empathy.

Most are there just looking for work."

What other pets is she looking to add to her fold?

"I want to keep a snake, the only problem I know is potting

When they want to poop they just do it . I love a certain yellow snake."
