I was Poisoned: Gospel Artist Alpha Mwana Mtule Refutes Death Rumors

Kenyan Gospel Artist Alpha Mwana Mtule has refuted Rumors that he is dead. In an Instagram post, the musician warned people against sending him 'rest in peace' messages, saying he is alive and recovering.

The musician revealed that he was poisoned while at a friend's house in Rongai and will share more details once he fully recovers.

 

Mwana Mtule added that the police are investigating the matter inorder to find the suspects.

"Hello Fam ?? This is Not clout chasing kindly stop writing R.I.P to me Am Not Dead, I thank God for saving my life. I Was poisoned At a Friends place, At RONGAI. I will talk to you soon and explained what happened because Now am still not feeling well ?? May God bless you all Am Still alive ???...Police are still doing investigation For suspects."

Alpha Mwana Mtule, commonly known as DJ Afro reportedly passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 29, according to an online blog, which led to heartfelt tributes and messages of remembrance.

However, the truth of the matter came to light when fellow comedian YY shared on his Instagram that he had confirmed the reports were not true, leading to a wave of relief and joy among fans.

YY reassured the public, exclaiming, “Thank God Mwanamtule is still alive…”

Alpha Mwana Mtule, known for several tracks, including “Safari,” “Kila Siku,” “Masaa,” “Uko Juu,” and “Baba Washukishe,” among others.

His collaboration with Size 8 Reborn on the hit song “Kujeni Twende” has been hailed as one of his famous songs.
