Kenyan socialite and businesswoman Huddah Monroe has cleared the air over allegations she was arrested for fraud in Dubai.

She shared a good conduct certificate taken in 2021 clarifying

"Hush Puppi was arrested in 2020 . This is my Dubai Police Good conduct in Dec 2021. Whoever came up with these lies we will find you."

HushPuppi was jailed for 11 years in November 2022.

 Puppi pleaded guilty in April 2021 to one count of conspiracy to engage in money laundering.

He was arrested in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in June 2020 and has remained in federal custody since his expulsion from the UAE.

According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, Central District of California Ramon Olorunwa Abbas, alias “Ray Hushpuppi,” was sentenced by United States District Judge Otis D. Wright II, who also ordered Abbas to pay $1,732,841 in restitution to two fraud victims.

Hush Puppi is one of the most known fraudster in the world, He is from Nigeria.

Huddah was responding to allegations by MP Peter Salasya that she had been arrested alongside fraudster Hushpapi.

Through his socials, Salasya partly wrote

"I only realized she is broke after noticing she was held incommunicado and hostage in Dubai for two years after eating money belonging to Hush Puppi who was stealing money from the USA through fraud and as we speak now Hush Puppi has been jailed for a life sentence after FBI coming for him in Dubai.

This is the reason the lady came with nothing from Dubai after conning men for decades. The Dubai security forces confiscated everything belonging to her because she was being investigated for conspiracy. From today henceforth I will never want to associate myself with a socialite.

Yes it's good to fake it until you make it but most socialites suffer a lot let them live in reality and be real like me. Am more richer than her and I forgive her for calling my 10k lunch for kuku na ni yeye aliitisha pesa na hiyo ni school fees ama pesa ya mchango matanga mbili."
