The cost of fuel across the country is set to go down further following the latest fuel prices review by the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA).

In a statement issued on Friday, EPRA announced a reduction of the price of super petrol by Ksh.3 and diesel by Ksh.6.08 while that of kerosene will also drop by Ksh.5.71 per litre.

“The prices are inclusive of the 16% Value Added Tax (VAT) in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 and the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020,” reads the statement.

Consequently, in Nairobi, Super Petrol will retail at Sh189.84, Diesel at Ksh.173.1 and Kerosene at Ksh.163.05.
