US-based Kenyan content creator has finally apologized over her viral video advising women to befriend Nigerians.

The video elicited a lot of wrath basing in the fact that two Nigerian men were arrested in relation to Rita Waeni's brutal murder. 

The late Waeni was found murdered and her body was chopped up at a house in Roysambu.

"Highly recommend being friends with a Nigerian man," Elsa advised

In the video, she went ahead to share her experience with a Nigerian friend during her 21st birthday.

Elsa now says she was not aware of what was happening in Kenya. 

" Oml I was completely unaware of what’s happening in Nigeria. Y'all please forgive my last video that was in very bad taste given the current situation," she said in part.

However, in a separate post, Majimbo added; "I don’t know who lied to yall but trending in Kenya isn’t my idea of being relevant,".

Rita Waeni's lifeless body was discovered stuffed in a paper bag off Thika Road, Nairobi.

According to the police, she had been stabbed and dismembered in an apartment along TRM Drive, Thika Road.

A head assumed to be that of Waeni has since been discovered.

The family eulogized Waeni as an intelligent and smart young woman known for her kindness, infectious laughter, and ability to light up any room she entered.
