Netizens slam the Stanbic Yetu Festival terming it a flop and waste of money.
The Stanbic Yetu Festival sponsored by Stanbic Bank and Radio Africa Group was the most hyped up event of the year. The festival was set to bring BoyzIIMen band from the United States and Sauti sol.
Tickets for the festival were sold at 8,000 for regular, 15,000 for VIP and 30,000 for VVIP.
Netizens took to social media platform, Twitter to slam the organizers and artists for failing to give them the performance they expected.
Many expressed their frustrations over poor sound and lack of comfort during the entire period of the performances.
"There is no comfort for regular tickets who paid 8k for this ticket. It's packed like sardines no breathing space leave alone dancing space. Badly organised #StanbicYetuFestival especially for regular tickets very bad experience," one user lamented.
"And it is not just 8k, people must have spent way more on outfits, transport, food and drinks. So high financial and emotional costs too," another user posted.
