The president being a huge lover for this musi genre Uhuru kenyatta never shies away to prove so in any opportunity he gets. He really enjoys reggae muic.
In Mombasa where he commissioned various development projects and after that headed to 'Baba 'the Azimio la Umoja coalition presidential candidate's rally. Here he was spotted vibing along to the reggae jam "One Love" showing off his best moves as the crowd cheered for him. The reggae jam composed by Bob Marley and he stated that he was one of his biggest fan and also stated he also enjoys UB40 and Gregory Isaacs he's other favourite artists.
The campaigns ran full day and continued to the night while accompanied by the coastal leaders with inclusion of; Mombasa governor Hassan Joho, Mvita Member of parliament and gubernatorial aspirant Abdulswamad Sherrif and Suleiman Shahbal and other Azimio la umoja candidates.
Big Ted, the brand strategist at the executive office of the president once confessed about an experience that Uhuru Kenyatta attended UB40's Concert in Nairobi. He said that the concert was one of the best moments in his career seeing his boss attending his gig.
My boss called me and asked me are sure UB40 are coming ? He was like i must come for that show. Do you know what it feels like for your boss to tell you he's coming to your gig? he asked me when we're starting and i was like eight sharp and at 7.50 pm, he was at the gate i picked him up and he tells me, number one, i do not want government officers guys next to me, he said. After the show he asked me to take a photo with the reggae group and the nexy day, he hosted the group, where they chilled and shared fun moments like buddies.
