Nakuru: Schoolhead, teacher arrested for defiling students

Kuresoi South sub-county Director of Education Donet Atieno has interdicted a school head and a teacher in Kuresoi South sub-county of Nakuru county over allegations of defiling school going children.
The director sent a warning to parents colluding with the suspects to settle such cases out of courts.
Speaking when she toured Tinet ward on inspection of schools in Kuresoi South sub-county, where several cases of school girls dropping out of school due to pregnancies have been reported, Atieno said the two teachers linked with defiling and impregnating of school girls have been interdicted.
The education director said certain parents who are compromised will also be arrested.
Kabongoi locational chief Thomas Tegeret also expressed regret over the neglect of boy child in empowerment projects.
Tegeret said the move to neglect the boy child is threatening society and called for the trend to be reversed.
