Media influencer and digital content creator Mylee Staicey has spilled juicy details about her past relationship with gospel artist Weezdom.

According to the former political aspirant, their relationship wasn’t a love-at-first-sight moment or a romantic meet-cute from a movie. Instead, it began after what she described as a "failed" rebound.

"I didn't want another relationship... so at that time I told him, 'I don't want a relationship; I just want a one-night stand,'" the digital content creator revealed, laughing, during a guest appearance on The Obinna Show.

She stressed, laughing heartily, that she wasn’t interested in dating the gospel artist—or anyone else—at the time.

Mylee shared that Weezdom had been pursuing her for a while, and they occasionally spoke on the phone.

However, she wasn’t eager to date him, as she had just come out of another relationship.

"We had been planning to meet for quite a while, but something always came up disrupting our plans. When we finally met, I got what I'd wanted all along," she said.

She continued, "We met in town, then went to his place, and that's where and when it went down." 

Reflecting on the experience, she added that it was worth it, as she eventually fell in love with the singer. 

"You all saw the shenanigans I used to put up and go through," Mylee stated, confirming she had no regrets about her decision.

Initially, she was determined to keep things casual after their hookup. "I didn't even let him drop me at my exact location so he wouldn’t know where I lived," she said.

To further distance herself, she stopped picking his calls and replying to his messages.

However, fate had other plans, and Weezdom’s persistence paid off.

"I wasn’t picking his calls, but he was relentless. Akanitafuta tena. One-night stand turned into two, and then into all those years we were together," Stacey said, blushing as she recounted their story.
