On the Daily Nation IEBC calls talks, A visit by political party agents to Athens Greece to supervise printing of election materials has raised questions on the supply of extra presidential results declaration forms that Ruto and Raila camps want answers to however, IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati has called a meeting today with both the presidential candidates to address the fears surrounding the statutory documents that led to nullification of the presidential vote in 2017.

The Standard, the United Democratic Alliance presidential candidate says Uhuru should stop succession politics and he stated that the president diverted from him during his time of need. He said," I stood with you, i assisted you in 2013 and 2017. Now your not contesting, why are you asking me many questions?" Ruto posed at a rally in Maua.

The People daily reported that on an opinion poll conducted on July 29th Infotrak revealed that Raila has maintained his lead in Ukambani region. In Machakos county according to Infotrak the opinion poll showed that Raila had 62% which was an increase from his 51% while William Ruto had reduced from 29% to 21%. In Makueni Raila stretched his lead from 57% to 68% whereas Ruto garnered 16% and lastly Kitui, the Azimio la Umoja Leader had 57% and Deputy president had 21%.
