Akothee reveals details of her special bond with Nelly Oaks on his birthday
Mr. Hezekiah Nelson Oyugi, also known as Nelly Oaks, the official manager and lover of Kenya's famous singer Esther Akoth (Akothee), is celebrating his birthday.
Akothee has taken this special day to appreciate the man who holds a significant place in her life and to celebrate their romantic relationship.
"Today, on this special day, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to your parents for bringing such a precious gem into the world. Babe, words cannot capture the depth of my appreciation and love for you. Our journey together, filled with ups and downs, only proves the strength of our relationship," Akothee wrote to Nelly Oaks on Instagram.
The mother of five continued to open up about how they sometimes have disagreements in their relationship to the point where she threatens to leave, but they eventually resolve their issues and continue to enjoy their relationship.
She also admitted to causing a bit of drama sometimes just to capture her lover's attention.
"You are my best friend, my rock, and the light that brightens my heart. You know you are the only one for me. On this special day, remember how important you are not just to me, but to all Kenyans.
The battles you’ve fought for me, the sacrifices you’ve made, and the challenges we’ve faced have only strengthened our relationship," she told Nelly.
She added, "I smile all the way to the bank with Brand Akothee because of you. Whenever a company pays, or a new contract is signed, you are the first person I call to share my joy and make you proud."
The 43-year-old musician concluded by confessing her deep love for Nelly Oaks and appreciating the love that this special man in her life shows her.
"Yes, I have my flaws, but the way you accept, embrace, and love me is a testament to your pure heart. I love you so much, Dr. Hezekiah Nelson Oyugi. Happy birthday, my love!" she wrote.
The two have been dating for a long time. They had previously broken up, with Akothee even going as far as getting married to another man, but they eventually reconciled and continued their relationship.
