70-yr old granny who gave birth to twins last year shares their first photos
70-year-old Safina Namukwaya has taken her twins home nearly two months after she gave birth to her double bundle of joy.
The septuagenarian welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, in late November at Women's Hospital International and Fertility Centre in Uganda.
Namukwaya was recently released to go home with her twins.

The 70-year-old named her daughter Shakira Babiyre Nabagala and her son Kato Shafique Kangave. Cm
The twins have given Namukwaya and her husband a new status in their rural village.
The elderly mother has now been christened Nalongo - a mother of twins. Her husband is now referred to as Salongo - a father of twins.
The 70-year-old Ugandan woman welcomed her twins on November 29, 2023, after a successful IVF treatment - becoming among the oldest women to give birth in Africa.
