Comedian YY warning for people who elevate themselves first as their parents suffer

One of Kenya’s top stand-up comedians, who rose to fame due to his appearances in the comedy TV show Churchill Show, has a few words of advice for all the people looking forward to being homeowners... "If your parents are in a bad state of living, elevate them first,"

Speaking during an interview with Sauti TV, the father of one went on to discuss how he feels bad karma befalls those who elevate themselves without making things easier for their parents first.

He noted that most times, one might get stuck mid-construction if they decide to focus on themselves first while their parents are suffering.

YY opined that if one sets their parents up first then money for other projects just easily starts overflowing and they get blessings.

Once you elevate your parents first... The moment you do that, you won't even know where the money came from to build your own.

By the way, if you start your construction and your mother is there in need of that same shelter, you might get stuck," the comedian candidly said.

He went on to give himself as an example recounting how he built his mother and himself a house in the village before beginning construction of luxurious his mansion in the city of Nairobi.

"So I started by sorting my mother first in the village. I also sorted myself in the village then nikakuja huku. So tunasonga pole pole tukisonga (afterwards I came to Nairobi and began construction here and we are moving slowly but surely, we are moving,)

Tukikwama tunakwama but as long as tutasonga more than tutakwama,( if we get stuck, then we do, but as long as we are moving more than we're getting stuck)" YY said.

What is your take on this and do you really believe in bad karma?
